Yesterday I got a wonderful care package from my best friend and her family, whom I’ve known for ten years (!!!) now. It had just enough decorations in it that it prompted me to reorganize my entire room, which is now very clean and looks great, in my opinion. (:
This photo is extremely blurry, but it’s because I had to lean backward over my roommate’s bed in order to take it. Our room is the size of a big walk-in closet, which would be nice and spacious for just clothes, but it’s pretty cramped with the two of us living in it.
The lighting is also really bad in this room. I’ve tried to improve it by adding fairy lights and a little lamp, but it’s not doing much.
Included in the box was a pair of snowflake knee socks, so of course I had to base my outfit for today around the socks.
I don’t even know if I should point out where the rest of my clothes came from, since a lot of what I own is thrifted… oh, well. Here’s the info anyway. Maybe it’ll be interesting.
Sweater, tank top, and belt: thrifted (Seattle Clothing Exchange)
Skirt: My mom went shopping one day, came back, handed the skirt to me, and said, “I got you this. You don’t have enough clothes.” I don’t know where she got it.
Flats: I don’t even remember what store they’re from (they’re a few years old), but I do remember going shopping with my mom and my sister. I found shoes I liked in the first store we went to (It was probably Target or Kohl’s) and my sister spent ages looking in every store until she finally found some she liked.
Dance tights: Danskin (bought from discountdance.com)
Necklace: Gift from my mom. I wear it every single day so I probably won’t mention it again.
P.S. Here’s this morning’s sunrise. The sun appeared over a fog bank instead of the horizon.
