Blankets: I make lots of them

When I don’t know what to make next, I make blankets. When people realized I was a knitter (about 10 years ago probably) they started giving me yarn, and it’s mostly worsted weight acrylic, i.e. blanket yarn. Here’s one in progress:

I talked about this blanket in this post last time I was home, saying it was probably for my grandma’s 80th birthday. I’m not so sure now, though. I’m not in love with the colors.

So I started this one too. I guess I’ll pick one when I finish both. Her 80th birthday isn’t for another year and a half!

It doesn’t look like much right now, I know. 🙂 The pattern is Neat Ripple Pattern by Lucy of Attic24. It’s a tutorial, and it’s super easy to follow.
